HELPING DOWNRIVER AUTISTIC INDIVIDUALS & THEIR FAMILIES

Throughout each year, Mimi’s Mission runs programs geared at helping Downriver autistic individuals and their families. Our Autism Acceptance Group  program is a parent-driven support group that offers socialization, meetings, dinner, demonstrations, and/or activities on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month (except holidays). The Autism Acceptance Group is a unique program that is open to Downriver autistic individuals and their families. In spring of 2022, we also launched Downriver Young Adults, a program similar to our Autism Acceptance Group, for autistic individuals between 17-30 years old.

Experiences and Support
You can help out!

Our fundraisers support families in the Downriver community. But most importantly, these experiences and tools enhance the lives of these children to help them socialize, learn new skills, and just be kids!
